I was born in Vanderburgh County; I grew up in Vanderburgh County. When the time came for me to decide where to start my career, I chose to do it in Vanderburgh County. I love our community.
For the past twelve-plus years, I’ve had the opportunity to get involved in numerous organizations across our county. Through working with groups like the EVSC Foundation, the Boys & Girls Club, Leadership Everyone, the Convention & Visitors Bureau, GAGE and several others, I met so many great people, and I got to be part of so many of the great things happening within Vanderburgh County.
As County Commissioner, we’ve accomplished some great things, but there is still work to be done. From the largest road paving and road repairs in modern county history to focusing on infrastructure, economic development, public safety, diversity and inclusion, I want to make sure those great things keep happening; I want to ensure that our county keeps growing. I want to make sure that we continue to make ourselves attractive to business, so that the people of Vanderburgh County continue to have good paying jobs. I want to continue working with Sheriff Wedding to ensure that Vanderburgh County remains the safe community where families choose every day to raise their children. And I want to make sure that those children - MY children, YOUR children - inherit a vibrant, thriving community to raise THEIR families in for many years to come.
